Breaking and entering near Governor’s Village linked to former employee

Pittsboro, NC – On March 19, members of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Governors Village, Chapel Hill, regarding a break-in at a local business. Deputies recovered surveillance video and fingerprints from the scene which led them to charge Brandon Clifton Lee King, a former employee, with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and injury to real property.

King was arrested on all charges on April 4 and assigned a written promise to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on April 12, 2021.
