Greensboro, NC – Northwood football team members traveled to Greensboro to participate in the 7-on-7 event at Dudley high school.
7-on-7 games were held on the main field at J.A. Tarpley Stadium and on adjoining sports fields.
Northwood vs Southeast Guilford 7-on-7
The event began at 8:30 and ran for30-minute sessions. The format was pool play, followed by playoffs concluding with the championship game at 2:30 p.m. However, due to extreme heat and humidity, the competition was terminated before 11 am.
Northwood vs St. Pauls 7-on-7
Schools scheduled to participate were Northwood, Carver, Dudley, Glenn, High Point Christian, Mount Tabor, North Forsyth, Smith and Southeast Guilford from the Triad, as well as Charlotte Chambers, Charlotte Mallard Creek, Charlotte Palisades, Cummings, East Lincoln, Fayetteville E.E. Smith, St. Pauls, Southern Durham and Spring Lake Overhills.
