Chatham County seeks pharmacists to apply for seat on Board of Health

Pittsboro, NC – The Chatham County Board of Health seeks licensed b pharmacists to apply for a vacant seat. Interested pharmacists should submit an application by Friday, May 14, 2021, at 5 p.m.

The Board of Health is the policy and rule-making board for the Chatham County Public Health Department, and members are appointed by the Chatham County Board of Commissioners. The Board meets at least ten times per year on the fourth Monday of the month in Pittsboro. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Board meetings are conducted virtually.

Individuals must be a resident of Chatham County to serve on the Board of Health. The new appointee would serve until June 30, 2024. Interested persons are asked to complete the county online application.
