Fearrington Village, NC – Fearrington’s Folk Art Show returns February 18 & 19, 2023 with the Collector’s Preview Friday the 17th! Featuring the work of self-taught artists who are deeply influenced by the spirit of folk art, raw vision, naïve art, primitivism and outsider art. On any given year you’ll see whimsical paintings, sculptures, pottery and all sorts of work to get your imagination flowing.
Fearrington has garnered a reputation for bringing together an eclectic group of outsider artists who represent some of the most interesting work to be found in the folk art world. Whimsical sculptures, colorful landscapes, and inspiring works of art will cover the walls of the Fearrington Barn for the annual folk art show. Browse one-of-a-kind creations from 35 artists in the center of Fearrington Village.
Join others for one of Fearrington’s favorite events of the year! Join fellow folk art lovers on Saturday and Sunday February 18 and 19, 2023 from 10 am to 5 pm. Come by to peruse, say hello, start or add to your collection! Tickets are $5 cash at the door.
The Collector’s Preview returns this year! Get a first look and purchase art on Friday night. The preview event is Friday night only, and artists’ work is available for sale that night. This is your opportunity to have more in-depth discussions with the artists, and to get ‘first dibs’ on their work. Your entry includes a glass of wine and light passed hors d’oeurves. Your preview tickets also gives you access to the show on Saturday and Sunday
