Pittsboro, NC – All eight of the Chatham County high school basketball teams who played their first round of state basketball playoff games at home Monday evening won.

Northwood High School, Pittsboro, NC
#5 Northwood girls (23-4) will host #12 Western Alamance (20-8) today at 6 pm.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the #4 Cape Fear (22-4) vs #13 Southern Wayne (20-7) game.
#5 Northwood girls (23-4) defeated #28 Lee County girls (14-10) on Tuesday, 59-30.
#12 Western Alamance defeated #21 Hunt (11-14), 86-47.
#1 Northwood boys (23-2) will host #16 Westover (21-8) today at 7:30 pm
The winner of this game will play the winner of the #9 South Central (16-10) vs #25 Terry Sanford (13-10) game.
