Durham, NC – Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe announced Friday that wide receiver Scott Boylan has signed a financial aid agreement to attend the institution and join the Blue Devil football program.
Boylan will enroll at Duke in August, 2021 after graduating from Brown University with a degree in business and philosophy. He played 27 games over a three-year career for the Bears, recording 64 receptions for 747 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 39 rushing attempts for 190 yards and two touchdowns.
Boylan spent time on special teams as well serving as a kick and punt return specialists. On 46 career kickoff returns, he accumulated 918 yards with one touchdown. He also registered 16 punt returns for 25 yards. Boylan will have one season of eligibility remaining.
A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Boylan is a 2017 graduate of Garces Memorial High School.
