It’s gonna be a good game, it’s going to be a good test for our kids.”

The #5 seed Northwood Chargers (13-0) will face the #16 seeded Person team (12-3) at home in Pittsboro on Saturday at 6 pm.
Coach Cameron Vernon wants his team to be ready for a tough third round game on Saturday. “We’re very familiar with Person. We played them in a regular season years ago. Last year, we played them in the second round. They have a lot of girls back. I don’t think our girls don’t respect them. Person has already shown that they’re a much better team than what their seed says. And they’re in a very good conference that we’re joining next year with Eastern Alamance, Northern Guilford; who were always very good teams. So they’re a tough conference. They’re game ready for this tournament.”
