Pittsboro, NC – Chatham County public libraries will reinstate its pre-COVID hours of operation and some services beginning Monday, May 24, 2021, at all three branch locations.
Hours of operation at each of the branches will be as follows:
Chatham Community Library (Pittsboro):Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Goldston Library:Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.Tuesday: CLOSEDThursday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Wren Memorial Library (Siler City):Monday: noon – 8:00 p.m.Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 pm.Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Access to public computers, study carrels (Pittsboro only) and meeting rooms will be available. For information on reserving a meeting room, residents may visit here.
Curbside service will still be offered at all three locations. Residents may call their local branch to arrange a time to pick up library materials.
Library programming will remain virtual until further notice. The library is not currently accepting donations of any type.
Masks are no longer required in county libraries by employees or the public. Anyone who feels that they want or need to continue to wear a mask is welcome to do so.
