Pittsboro, NC – Four of the five Chatham County high school state basketball teams that played in the third round of the state high school playoffs on Saturday won.
The Northwood boys, Seaforth girls and the Chatham Charter boys and girls will play in the fourth round of the state basketball playoffs on Tuesday. The Northwood boys and the Chatham Charter girls will play at home. The Seaforth girls and the Chatham Charter boys will travel.

Here’s a schedule of when and where those teams will be playing their fourth round playoff games on Tuesday.
4th Round 3A State basketball playoff game on Tuesday
Northwood High School, Pittsboro, NC
#1 Northwood boys (25-2) will host #13 Franklinton (25-4) on Tuesday evening at 6 pm.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the #2 E.E. Smith (25-3) vs #3 Northern Nash (28-2) in the regional game on Saturday, March 4.
#1 Northwood boys (25-2) defeated #25 Terry Sanford (14-11) on Saturday, 57-37.
#13 Franklinton (25-4) defeated #5 Southern Durham (22-6) on Saturday, 70-68
#1 Northwood boys (24-2) defeated #16 Westover (21-9) on Thursday, 60-44.
#25 Terry Sanford (14-10) defeated #9 South Central (16-11) on Thursday, 55-53.
#1 Northwood boys (23-2) defeated #32 West Johnston (14-10) on Tuesday, 76-23.
#16 Westover (21-8) defeated #17 Person (21-6), 86-63.
4th Round 2A State basketball playoff game on Tuesday
Beddingfield High School, Wilson, NC
#5 Seaforth girls (25-3) will travel to play #1 Beddingfield (26-1) on Tuesday at 7 pm.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the #2 North Pitt (26-2) vs #3 Northeastern (27-1) in the regional game on Saturday, March 4.
#5 Seaforth girls (25-3) defeated #4 Saint Pauls (20-6) on Saturday, 57-55.
#5 Seaforth girls (24-3) defeated #12 Eastern Wayne (19-8) on Thursday, 48-24.
#4 Saint Pauls (20-5) defeated #20 Roanoke Rapids (13-10) on Thursday, 66-64.
#5 Seaforth girls (23-3) defeated #28 Nash Central girls (9-14) on Tuesday, 60-28

#3 Chatham Charter girls (24-5) will host #7 Southside (25-6) on Tuesday at 6 pm.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the #1 Falls Lake (30-0) vs #4 North Duplin (24-1) in the regional game on Saturday, March 4.
#3 Chatham Charter girls (24-5) defeated #6 Vance Charter (18-6) on Saturday, 64-27.
#3 Chatham Charter girls (23-5) beat #14 Roxboro Community (13-11) on Thursday, 58-39.
