Siler City, NC – Starting this week registration for Siler City Parks and Recreation youth sports has opened. Leading the way is kickball! Registration opened on June 17th and will close on August 5th. The co-ed kickball league is offered for the ages of 3-10 years old. Practices will begin in the beginning of August and end in the first week of October. All games and practices will be held at Bray Park Sports Complex.
Girls Volleyball is new to the Parks and Recreation department this fall. Registration is offered for girls between the ages of 8-13 years old and opens on July 1st and closes on August 12. Practices will be held twice a week at Ramsey Gymnasium and games will be played on Saturday throughout Chatham County.
Co-ed flag football is back in action with registration opening on June 21st. Deadline for registering children from the ages of 5-10 will end on August 12th. Practices will be held at Bray Park during the week and games will be on Saturdays.
