Goldston drug bust: Arrests made in major investigation

Goldston, NC – A search warrant executed by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office on December 11, 2024, resulted in the discovery of illegal drugs, a firearm, and the arrest of three individuals at a residence in Goldston.

During the search of 1714 St. Luke Church Rd., deputies uncovered approximately 19 grams of cocaine, less than half an ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Four individuals were charged as a result of the investigation.

Pruitt Roland Jones, 33, of 1714 St Luke Church Rd., Goldston, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Jones received a secured bond of $1,500.00.

Kevin Jerome Wallace, 43, also of 1714 St Luke Church Rd., Goldston, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Wallace is being held under the Pre-Trial Integrity Act, with a first appearance scheduled for December 12, 2024, to determine bond conditions.

Lashaun Shamel White, 34, of 219 Henderlite St., Salisbury, was charged with felony possession of cocaine. She was released on a written promise to appear. 

Ashley Christina Powers, 35, who is homeless, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to half an ounce and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. She was issued a criminal summons.

All suspects are scheduled to appear in court on January 6, 2025, at the Chatham County Justice Center in Pittsboro.
