Pittsboro, NC – The 3rd Annual Northwood Charger Stampede 5K Run/Walk will take place at Northwood high school on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10 a.m. on the beautiful Ronald Horton Cross Country Trail.
This race is a wonderful blend of competitiveness and fun. Come out with your whole family and enjoy a morning of running and supporting the Cross Country and Track & Field Teams at Northwood. The monies raised from this event will cover meet entry fees, equipment and travel for the cross country and track & field teams at Northwood.
The Northwood High School Boosters, Friends, Family and Alumni Association (NHSBFAA) is a non-profit corporation (501c3) and all donations are tax deductible. Packet pick-up will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on the day of the race Saturday, October 22 from 9 to 9:45 a.m. If you have questions about the race please contact the race director at cisenhour@chatham.k12.nc.us

Schedule:
Facility opens – 8 a.m.
Registration – 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Race – 10 a.m.
At the conclusion of the race we will do a 1/2 mile Fun Run on the track for Kids Aged 11 and Under
Awards will follow the Fun Run
Awards will be given in the following categories:
Individual Overall Winners and Individual Age Group Winners
Age Groups
12 and under13 to 1920 to 2930 to 3940 to 4950 to 5960 to 6970 and up
Shirts are guaranteed ONLY to participants who register by Monday, October 10th 2022. Shirt sizes cannot be exchanged or changed after this date.
