Pittsboro, NC – Local Broker Eric Andrews, of Realty World Carolina Properties, has recently been appointed to serve on the North Carolina Association of Realtors Commercial Committee (2024-2025). Andrews will be on the board to assist the organization with recommendations for all issues concerning Commercial Brokerage. Andrews was appointed to the position due to his decades long involvement with land brokerage. He is the current President of the Realtor Land Institute of the Carolinas. (2023-2024) Andrews also serves on the North Carolina Forms Committee and the Raleigh Association of Realtors Grievance Committee.
“I am thrilled to be able to serve the incoming NCAR President-Elect Tony Harrington and NCAR as a whole. I am willing to share my personal experiences and knowledge in real estate to help our industry grow, and meet the needs of North Carolina’s buyers and sellers of real estate. The collaboration with brokers from across the state has taught me more than I could ever learn on my own. I believe it is essential that our industry evolves and keeps pace with the rest of the country as people discover the opportunities available in our great state.”
Andrews has also agreed to serve on the Commercial Forms Committee and has done so for the last two terms. This past year Andews introduced a Land Disclosure Form that is very similar to the Residential Property Disclosure Form currently used in House Sales. This allows Buyers to know important information about the raw land prior to making an offer. That form and its inclusion on the current offer to purchase will be made in 2024. “I have been supplying that information on a voluntary basis for several years. I was glad the rest of the committee agreed with its importance and it will now be used to improve buyer awareness across the state.”
