Town of Pittsboro seeks community input for Climate Action Plan

Pittsboro, NC – The Town of Pittsboro is excited to announce the official launch of our community-wide Climate Action Plan. The Climate Action Plan, designed to provide structure and guidance to our community’s activities as we move forward in a changing climate, is in its first public participation stage. The Climate Action Plan Survey is now available for public input through July 7, 2025. As this plan is being written by and for our community, our community members’ feedback is essential to help shape a sustainable and resilient future for our Town.

The survey is open to all community members and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Participants can share their priorities, concerns, and ideas on how the Town can take meaningful action on climate-related topics.

The survey will remain open until Monday, July 7, 2025. All residents are encouraged to participate and share the survey with neighbors, friends, and local organizations.
