Siler City, NC – A Siler City man faces multiple drug charges after a joint investigation by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies uncovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia at his residence.
On September 26, 2025, the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, and the Siler City Police Department, executed a search warrant at 189 Gilliland Road in Siler City. Investigators located and seized cocaine and items consistent with the sale and distribution of the drug.
Carson Darrell Rodgers, 74, of 189 Gilliland Road, Siler City, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine; felony possession of cocaine; felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodgers was issued a $10,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on October 20, 2025.
