Parks & Recreation
All Chatham County parks and facilities will be closed on Saturday, January 22. Basketball games are cancelled.
Solid Waste & Recycling
Staff hope to open four Collection Centers at Noon on Saturday, January 22:

Staff will assess conditions at the Collection Centers Saturday morning to determine whether any additional schedule changes are needed. Changes may include not opening any centers or opening other centers. Residents should check the Solid Waste & Recycling website www.chathamcountync.gov/recycle or call the Collection Center before visiting to make sure it is open.
The county will monitor weather forecasts and notify the public if there are additional delays or closings to services over the weekend.
