Carolina men’s basketball adds Kevin Thomas

Chapel Hill, NC – Kevin Thomas, a 6-7 wing from Chester, Pa., has signed to play for the University of North Carolina men’s basketball team. Thomas played for head coach David Roe at Sagemont Prep in Weston, Fla., where he helped win three Class 1A state championships.

He averaged 15.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals and made 60 three-pointers for Sagemont as a senior.

Thomas joins an incoming class from the prep ranks that currently includes Maximo Adams from Northridge, Calif., and Malloy Smith from Encino, Calif.
