Siler City, NC – N.C. Cooperative Extension, MeatSuite, and Little Way Farm are collaborating together to host a “Meat” Your Farmer day with a farm tour of Little Way Farm and a cooking demonstration by the Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent, Tara Gregory. Participants will be able to walk around the farm, learn about their practices, and meet the animals. Participants will also learn more about recipes and how to cook products from a local farm, while also getting to taste the treats.
Participants will be given a $15 credit to purchase products from Little Way Farm to take home on the day of the event. It is recommended to bring a cooler with ice or icepacks in your vehicle to transport the products home.
