Greensboro, NC – Due to the threat of a high-impact winter storm, the N.C. High School Athletic Association has adjusted the schedule for the wrestling state championships.
Originally, the wrestling state championships were set to start on Thursday and conclude on Saturday. However, these events have been rescheduled:
Wrestling State Championships will now commence on Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum, continuing through Sunday, and finishing with the championships on Monday.
- Saturday: Weigh-ins at 11:00 a.m., wrestling starts at 1:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Weigh-ins at noon, wrestling begins at 1:30 p.m.
- Monday: Weigh-ins at 7:30 a.m., wrestling starts at 9:00 a.m.

11:00 a.m. – Registration Opens
11:30 a.m. – Women’s Weigh-ins
1:00 p.m. – Women’s First Round
1:30 p.m. – 3A Weigh-ins
3:00 p.m. – 3A First Round
3:30 p.m. – 4A Weigh-ins
5:00 p.m. – 4A First Round
5:30 p.m. – 2A Weigh-ins
7:00 p.m. – 2A First Round
9:00 p.m. – First Round Consolations (2A, 3A, 4A, Womens)
Sunday, February 23
11:00 a.m. – Coliseum Opens for Wrestlers
12:00 noon – 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, Women’s Weigh-ins
1:30 p.m. – Quarterfinals (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, Women)
3:30 p.m. – Second Consolations (2A, 3A, 4A, Women)
6:00 p.m. – Semifinals (All Classes)
Monday, February 24
7:00 a.m. – Coliseum Opens for Wrestlers
7:30 a.m. – Weigh-ins (All Classes)
9:00 a.m. – 1st Consolation (1A), Third Consolations (2A, 3A, 4A, Women), Followed by Consolation Semifinals (All Classes), Followed by 3rd/5th Place Consolations
4:00 p.m. – Parade of Champions and Championship Finals
