Kickin’ Chicken Benefit to raise funds for Special Olympics

Goldston, NC – The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the Goldston Fire Department for the Kickin’ Chicken Benefit in support of Special Olympics North Carolina.

Set for Friday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Goldston Fire Department, the event features chicken plates packed with flavor and purpose. Each $10 plate includes chicken tenders, green beans, coleslaw, bread, and dessert.

All proceeds will go directly to Special Olympics NC, an organization that provides life-changing opportunities for athletes across the state.

“This event is about coming together as a community to support something bigger than ourselves,” said Chatham County Sheriff Mike Roberson. “It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we team up for a good cause.”

The Sheriff’s Office invites everyone to stop by, grab a plate, and support a cause that’s close to many hearts in the community.
