I’m Lorie Barker owner of SpaRituals and Boutique.
About me
Born and raised in Moore county. Till I meet my husband Eddie and we tied the knot in ’98. So we looked in Moore county, but the house we wanted in Carthage we didn’t get, Chatham so here we are. Eddie grew up in Pittsboro area. We both had children, Eddie had two beautiful girls Heather and Lynsi. I had two beautiful babies too Brandon and Karen. Brandon is our angel now. We have four beautiful grandkids Brianna, Issca, Cameron and Leah.
My business is a spa. A day of relaxing and pampering.
I got into skin care because I had really bad skin and didn’t want my kids worry about acne and blackheads like I did and get made fun of at school. Our family was poor grew up on a farm. When I started skin care I loved it a big passion for skin care and therapy modalities to treat the skin as well. Both my teens struggled with acne they loved all the treatments that got lol.
I am also a licensed nail technician. Why? My father became diabetic and needed foot care. So a few months later I went to school for nails after finishing state board for esthetician. Now I take care of my mom’s feet due to sugar. Both mom and dad; they loved the pampering too. This kind of work is like a passion and love story of my career. I love what I do.
I have been licensed since 2003. I opened my own Spa and Boutique my birthday April of 2019. The was best present ever. A lot of sweat , ladders, brushes, paint and love went into it . Thank goodness I got a handy Husband I love. I wanted it to be comfy for my clients that I love I really appreciate my clients they make my day every time I see them. I try to give a good relaxing service. What u see is what you get a passion to pamper people and help them relax, rejuvenate and repair skin.
My other passion is helping others in our local community make money too. So my boutique has handmade knitted baby items, hats, scarves, handmade soy candles, cork wallets, purses, handmade bracelets , handmade cards.
Used items etc this money goes to help others businesses in our community. Brighton, Katie Spade purse, chair yoga half ball, kids’ pictures, men’s Merrill s size 12 , used clothing for Kates closet plus more.
We have CBD gummies, sublinguals, body butter and lotion for pain plus more.
Our newest vendor makes bracelets handmade that goes to a scholarship. 80% off proceedings go to to fund an endowed scholarship for teachers-in-preparation at North Carolina Central University—the Sharon L. Spencer Endowed Scholarship. She needs 40,000 by June 2021 to meet goal.
So helping support my community is very important to me and spreading the love of other peoples businesses.

Triangle Medicare Solutions
My name is Ken Parson and I specialize in helping Medicare age people understand their health care options so that they can make an educated decision on what’s best for them. I take into consideration their health, budget, peace of mind, location, etc.. I got into this business after seeing the financial struggles that one bad decision can cause and that the ramifications can last a lifetime.
