Wolfpack dispatches ECSU, 87-68, in exhibition contest

Raleigh, NC – NC State defeated Elizabeth City State, 87-68, Monday night inside PNC Arena in the Pack’s lone exhibition contest prior to the start of the regular season next Tuesday. Jericole Hellems led five Pack players in double figures with 16 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 3-of-4 three-point shooting. The senior forward added four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Breon Pass and Terquavion Smith each had 12 points in their first game inside PNC Arena. Thomas Allen added 11 points and Dereon Seabron posted 10 points.

Seabron led the team with six rebounds while Cam Hayes had a team-high five assists.

NC State forced 27 ECSU turnovers and had a 30-9 advantage over the Vikings in points off turnovers.

The Pack opens the regular season Tuesday, Nov. 9 when it hosts Bucknell. The game will be televised on ACC Network Extra.
