Pittsboro, NC – As Chatham County gears up for an exciting lineup of events in 2025, Savannah Fox, the Events and Assistant Property Manager of Mosaic, reveals plans for a vibrant season filled with music, community engagement, and family-friendly activities. With a commitment to safety and accessibility, the Mosaic Event Series promises to deliver enjoyable experiences, including beach and country music concerts, outdoor movie nights, wellness classes, and a groundbreaking Christmas drone light show.
Capacity and Ticketing
One of the most significant changes for the 2025 season is the introduction of a ticketing policy, aimed at ensuring the safety of attendees. “Last year, we hit a capacity of 1,600 at Liquid Pleasure, and we want to ensure everyone is safe,” Fox explained. The maximum capacity for events this year has been set at 2,000, with free tickets available to manage attendance effectively. This new policy allows for better crowd control and emergency management, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the events without overcrowding.
A Diverse Musical Lineup
The Mosaic Event Series will feature a diverse range of musical acts throughout the spring and summer. Kicking off the season, the first show featured the popular band “Too Much Sylvia,” which attracted over 1,400 fans a couple of weeks ago. Fox highlights the appeal of beach music, noting that the upcoming performances will include well-known acts such as the Band of Oz, The Embers, and Chairman of the Board.
As the summer transitions into fall, the focus will shift to country music, showcasing local talents like Jordan Pickett and Rigsbee Road. Fox aims to provide a platform for homegrown artists, stating, “We’re really trying to give these artists a stage to be able to highlight North Carolina homegrown country music artists before they go big. And so we want to give them a place to promote themselves and showcase their talents.”
Family-Friendly and Pet-Friendly Events
Mosaic’s events are designed to be inclusive, welcoming families and pets alike. Fox notes, “It’s very family oriented. It’s even pet friendly. We allow pets out here. A lot of people enjoy bringing them out because a lot of venues don’t allow pets.” This commitment to creating a welcoming environment extends beyond music, as the series includes food trucks and local vendors, providing a full sensory experience for attendees.
Friday Night Movies and Wellness Wednesdays
In addition to live music, Mosaic will host a series of Friday night movies, featuring popular films like “Oppenheimer” and “Avatar: The Way of Water.” Fox explains that the movies will start earlier this year to accommodate families with young children, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a night out without staying out too late. There will also be a unique drive-in movie experience where attendees can enjoy films from the comfort of their cars.
Wellness Wednesdays will also be a highlight, featuring sunset yoga sessions and fitness classes in collaboration with local studios. “We try to support all of our local fitness studios,” Fox states, encouraging community participation in health and wellness activities. She noted that the classes are designed to be accessible, encouraging participation from all fitness levels.
The Mosaic Market: A Celebration of Local Talent
One of the standout features of the Mosaic Event Series is the Mosaic Market, which has been rebranded to better serve the community. Now held monthly, the market showcases over 30 local vendors, offering a variety of products from baked goods to handmade crafts. Fox emphasizes the importance of supporting local businesses, saying, “It’s a lot of relationship building.”
A Groundbreaking Christmas Event
Perhaps the most exciting addition to the 2025 event lineup is the “Merry and Bright Christmas Drone Light Show,” set for December 6. This innovative event will feature a 15-minute drone show with festive imagery, including Santa Claus and reindeer, alongside live performances from a local band and the Northwood high school choir. Fox expresses her enthusiasm for this unique event, stating, “We wanted to create a very family-oriented event that no one else has done.”
A Commitment to Community and Connection
As the Mosaic Event Series approaches, Savannah Fox’s passion for her role shines through. “It’s really nice to be able to like see everybody and just genuinely know that you’re creating memories and family fun time,” she reflects. With a packed schedule of 57 events planned for the year, there’s something for everyone at Mosaic. From music and movies to wellness and holiday celebrations, the Mosaic Event Series might just become a beloved tradition in Chatham County.

For those interested in attending, free tickets are available through the Mosaic website, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun while maintaining safety protocols. Fox encourages community members to stay connected through social media for updates and event details, promising that the excitement at Mosaic is just beginning.
