Thales Academy expanding with new campuses in Pittsboro and Cary

Cary, NC – Thales Academy, a college preparatory network of K-12 independent schools, is expanding, opening three new campuses for the 2021-2022 school year–in Cary and Pittsboro as well as an east coast fulltime virtual school, Thales Academy Online.

Thales Academy Cary K–5 and Thales Academy Pittsboro K–5 are accepting applications now for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and Thales Academy Online is accepting applications now for students in kindergarten through eighth grade who live in the eastern time zone. The two new campus locations are slated to start in July 2021 at the beginning of Thales Academy’s year-round school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.

Thales Academy Pittsboro is the first school opening in the Chatham Park planned community, and building construction is underway at the new site at 200 Vine Parkway, Pittsboro, NC 27312.

Tuition varies slightly by campus location, but all the Triangle area campuses will be just over $5,000 per year, and scholarships, a Full Pay Discount, and payment plans are available. Thales Academy Online’s tuition will be $3,500 for grades K–5 and $4,000 for grades 6–8. Applications for all new Thales Academy campuses are first-come, first-served (internal waitlists and transfers will be honored first) and will remain open until seats are filled and a waitlist is created.

Thales Academy Pittsboro K–5 and Thales Academy Cary K–5 are the eighth and ninth Thales Academy campuses in the Triangle and will bring the total number of campuses overall in the growing Thales Academy network to fourteen–thirteen brick and mortar campus locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, plus the new K–8 Eastern time zone virtual campus, Thales Academy Online.
