Carter, Leonard, Monk and Duke football coach Mike Elko head to ACC Kickoff

Durham, NC – Redshirt senior defensive tackle DeWayne Carter, junior quarterback Riley Leonard and graduate student offensive lineman Jacob Monk will join head coach Mike Elko as Duke’s representatives at this year’s ACC Football Kickoff.

The foursome will be at The Westin Hotel in Charlotte, N.C., on Wednesday. The event brings together local, regional, and national media with ACC student-athletes, coaches, administrators, bowl partners and ACC Network personnel for the unofficial beginning of football season.
 
On Wednesday, student-athletes and coaches from Duke, Florida State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Virginia Tech will participate in a variety of interview formats. Other highlights include guest speakers and photo opportunities. Media in attendance will also vote on the Preseason All-ACC Teams as well as the predicted league order of finish.
 
Fans can experience the event via ACC Network or through the Watch ESPN app. Carter and Monk will make an appearance together on the ACC Network at 10:45 a.m. Coach Elko will then join the ACC Network crew live at 11:30 a.m., while Leonard closes out the day with an appearance at 3:35 p.m.
