Pittsboro, NC – We are a week away from the start of the high school football regular season start. As it has been for numerous year’s Northwood high school will host the Jack Shaner Jamboree this Friday, August 11. The jamboree is set to kickoff at 6 pm.
There are teams scheduled to appear at the Jamboree are the following: host Northwood, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Southern Lee, Providence Grove, Southwest Randolph and Trinity Christian.
The event will start at 6 pm with the referees going over the rule changes with the teams. The actions are set to start at 6:10 pm with two scrimages going on at the same time on the football field.

6:40 p.m. — Carrboro vs. Northwood
7:10 p.m. — Northwood vs. Carrboro
7:40 p.m. — Northwood vs. Southern Lee
8:10 p.m. — Chapel Hill vs. Providence Grove
8:40 p.m. — Trinity Christian vs. Northwood
