Matchups and schedule for 2024 NCHSAA basketball regional championships

Pittsboro, NC – The NCHSAA boys and girls regional and state championship basketball games will take place at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on March 11-16.

The #3 Seaforth Lady Hawks are scheduled to play the #1 North Pitt Lady Panthers at 4 pm on Wednesday, March 13.

With four regional championships each day at Lawrence Joel Coliseum, games will begin at 2 pm. Following games will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game. Approximate game times are 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm.

1A Regionals — Monday, March 11

Boys Basketball

4 PM 1A East Regional: #11 Bertie vs. #1 Wilson Prep

8 PM 1A West Regional: #2 Corvian Community vs. #1 South Stokes

Girls Basketball

2 PM 1A East Regional: #12 East Bladen vs. #3 East Columbus

6 PM 1A West Regional: #3 Cherokee vs. #1 Mountain Heritage

2A Regionals — Wednesday, March 13

Boys Basketball

6 PM 2A East Regional: #2 Goldsboro vs. #1 Farmville Central

State championship games will be played on Friday and Saturday.

Friday, March 15: 1A & 3A boys & girls state championships

Saturday, March 16: 2A & 4A boys & girls state championships

Friday’s state championships are scheduled to be played at 1 pm, 3:30 pm, 6 pm, and 8:30 pm. Saturday’s state championships are scheduled to be played at 12 pm, 2:30 pm, 5 pm, and 7:30 pm.

Ticket, parking, concessions information

Tickets to the NCHSAA basketball championships went on sale at 1 pm on Saturday and can be purchased online via the website for Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Ticketmaster. You may also call (336) 758-2450.

Event parking will cost $10 per car and can be purchased with cash or card.

Concessions are available for purchase inside the venue and are cashless.
