Siler City, NC – The Chatham Sheriff’s Animal Resource Center will host a free Rabies Clinic on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chatham Charter School at 2200 Hampstone Rd., Siler City.
The clinic will provide free one-year and three-year rabies vaccines. The three-year vaccine will be available only for pets with proof of current vaccination. All cats and dogs must be four months of age or older to receive vaccinations. Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers.
The clinic is made possible through the generous support of the Bissell Pet Foundation, which is providing the rabies vaccines for the event.
In collaboration with the Chatham Sheriff’s Animal Resource Center, N.C. State University veterinarians and vet students will be on hand to administer the vaccinations. Additionally, Dr. Bonnie Ammerman, DVM, of Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital will be offering her expertise and support to ensure the success of the event.
This free clinic provides an excellent opportunity for pet owners to ensure their furry companions are up to date with their vaccinations, contributing to the overall health and safety of both pets and the community.
