Pittsboro, NC – The third round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association girls soccer state playoffs is scheduled for Monday, May 20. All third round games are played at the higher seed.
Two Chatham county teams have made it to the third round of the playoffs. In the 1A bracket, Woods Charter (#2 seed) is still playing. In the 2A bracket, Seaforth (#4 seed) is still competing.

6 pm – #2 Woods Charter (19-4-1) will host #10 East Wake Academy (10-7)
The winner of this game will play the winner of # Lejeune (15-1-1) vs #6 East Bladen (15-2-2)
Woods Charter defeated #18 North Moore on Friday to advance to the third round, 5-2
3rd Round 2A State basketball playoffs
Seaforth High School, Pittsboro, NC
7 pm – #4 Seaforth (21-1-1) will host #5 East Duplin (17-5-2)
The winner of this game will play the winner of #1 Franklin Academy (21-2) vs #9 Heide Trask (17-5-1)
Seaforth defeated #20 Benningfield on Friday to advance to the third round, 10-0
