Pittsboro, NC – The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Pittsboro held a regular meeting on Monday, April 14th, 2025, at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center. The Board took the following actions during the meeting:
Highlights:
- Mayor Kyle Shipp recognized the 2025 Youth and Junior Youth of the Year for the Pittsboro Boys & Girls Club.
- The Board of Commissioners received a presentation from Parks and Recreation Director, Katy Keller, on the Knight Farm Park PARTF Project.
- The Board of Commissioners approved amendments to parking and traffic ordinances for Pittsboro Elementary School Road.
- The Board of Commissioners received a presentation from Assistant Town Manager and Engineering Director, Kent Jackson, on Sanford Road pedestrian safety improvements.
- The Board of Commissioners received a presentation pertaining to SUPA Youth Sports Plex of Chatham.

- The Board approved minutes from previous meetings and addressed other Town business.
