Pittsboro, NC – The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office will host its first annual Cruisin’ for Champions motorcycle ride on Saturday, September 20, 2025, to raise funds for Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC).

The event will begin at White Oak Beach at Jordan Lake, with kickstands up at 9 a.m. Participants will take part in a scenic, escorted ride, followed by food, music, games, raffle prizes, and more. The event is open to all riders and the public is encouraged to attend in support of local Special Olympics athletes.
Registration is $30 per rider, with an additional $10 for passengers. Entry includes breakfast, lunch, a complimentary event T-shirt, and a custom challenge coin.
Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics North Carolina, helping to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
