Moncure, NC – I’ve noticed a woman taking just about every item in the Asbury swap shop ever since I started putting gently used shoes and clothing. I watched her getting ready to leave while I was at the plastic bin. Her car was full from front to back and to the top.
She left and I moved walked over with a couple of coats and some slippers. Both were like new. She must have seen me because she came back and scooped up what I put inside.
I’ve noticed her a lot lately. She cleans out everything usable. Is this legal? I pay a huge tax and fee to dispose of my trash. I doubt she has a tag to even be there. I don’t see one!
I will take my gently used items to The PTA Thrift Store from now on.
I just wondered if this woman is stealing and setting up yard sales. I think she is the same person I have heard about in Chatham County! The attendants never check your sticker. They don’t last long and spend what time they are there inside the booth. I thought maybe a person needed a couple of good winter coats and I had a like new doll. I hope that could make a child have a better Christmas.
