Pittsboro, NC – Due to the winter storm and poor road conditions in Chatham and surrounding counties, Chatham County Government offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel for their safety and so first responders and utility crews can operate safely and efficiently.
A State of Emergency is currently in effect in Chatham County due to the winter storm. The storm will likely continue to impact County operations and services, and additional information will be released as it is available.
